ATTORNEY PROFILE
Chris Pritt, Esq.
Background: Chris grew up in West Virginia, mostly in the small town of Kingwood. Chris graduated from Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, West Virginia. He was highly involved in his high school and was a running back on the football team. While growing up in these communities, Chris learned about small town values and the importance of hard work.
After graduating from Fayetteville High School, he went to West Virginia Wesleyan College and achieved his B.A. in English. He was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity. At Wesleyan, Chris learned about serving others. In addition to learning about it, Chris put his desire to help others into action. He was involved in a number of community service organizations. He was also elected as Community Council President; the Community Council is the college's student government organization.
Chris also had the opportunity to work in the West Virginia Legislature. While there, Chris learned much about the law and the legislative process.
Chris continued learning about helping others at Virginia Tech, where he received a Master of Public Administration degree. He then went on to receive his law degree at Ohio Northern University. At Ohio Northern, Chris met Kelly, the love of his life.
Chris is now putting small town values and a desire to help others into action. Chris' practice focuses on persons who have been injured and ensuring the rights of others are protected. You may have been injured in a car wreck or another kind of accident. You may have been wrongly terminated due to your age, race, or military service. Chris can help help with these and other legal issues.
Chris resides in Dunbar, West Virginia with Kelly. He is an active member of Dunbar United Methodist Church.
Kelly Pritt, Esq.
Background: Kelly is a divorce and child custody lawyer, largely based upon her experiences as a small child. Kelly grew up in Buffalo, New York. Her parents were divorced when Kelly was only four years old. Through this, she experienced the devastation of her mother not having a competent lawyer.
Kelly vowed at a very young age that she would become a lawyer that her clients could trust to get the best results. Kelly believes that no parent or child should have to suffer like her family did due to the results of a lawyer who lacked compassion, dedication, and competence.
Kelly graduated magna cum laude with honors from Niagara University with a B.A. in Political Science. While at Niagara, Kelly participated in many community service projects, including Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and an afterschool program where she helped children from broken families learn how to cope with the difficulties of life.
In 2002, Kelly volunteered in national United States Senate campaigns in New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Kelly was also highly involved in children's advocacy while working at the Girl Scout Government Relations Office in Washington, D.C., where she lobbied the United States Congress to pass legislation increasing educational and recreational opportunties for young children.
Kelly also met her husband Chris at Ohio Northern University and has chosen to make West Virginia her home. Before Chris and Kelly chose to open their own law practice, Kelly previously worked at Lyne Ranson Law Offices, where she gained significant experience in a variety of matters ranging from simple divorces to complicated multi-state child custody issues.
Kelly resides in Dunbar, West Virginia with Chris. She is an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
